If for some reason there is a problem with the firmware update, some newer firmwares now have an alternative way to update the firmware. With this alternative method a downgrade to older versions is possible too.
For this you have to reboot in update mode.
Change the URL in the address bar to contain flash-tool.php instead of update-tool.php
If the device has connection to the internet a list of available firmware image packages is listed.
By clicking on the according button and confirming the popup message, the flashing of the firmware will be started.
If there is no connection to the internet you can upload the flash package from your local computer via the Browse and Upload button.

https://www.beronet.com/wp-content/uploads/downloads/berofix/ddflash_images/
While the flash process is running do not power off or reboot your device. The whole process probably will take around five minutes.
After the flashing is finished, the device will reboot and needs approximately two minutes to finalize the update.
