Restoring RootFS Storage / Revert old RootFS

When downgrading the firmware, you may get an error message “inappropriate rootfs”. Please follow the steps down below. The value in the Miscellaneous-Settings is set automatically. For this you will need to reboot your device in Normal-Mode again. |

Go to Miscellaneous-Settings and use the following experimental option:
restoring_rootfs=1
A new tab will appear and it will be possible to restore the old RootFS with the click of a button
If successful, the experimental option will automatically disappear. Please follow further instructions.
Freeing RootFS Storage / Make room on the main partition
This procedure is automatically performed when updating to firmware version appfs-21.02 and does not need to be performed again.
