Provisioning over NOTIFY SIP message

Provisioning a configuration file (with a .xml format) can be triggered over NOTIFY SIP message.

Configure the beroNet SBC and Gateway

From the SIP Configuration page, create a SIP Peer linked to your second SIP device (aka, the one which sends the NOTIFY SIP message):

Add the ‘resync_on_notify=1’ flag to the ‘Extra options’ field from the ‘More’-tab as following:

Save the new SIP Peer and Activate the new device configuration.

Configure the second SIP device

From the second SIP linked to the beroNet device, update the NOTIFY SIP message with ‘resync’ as ‘Event’ and FromUser has to be the one which is configured at the corresponding SIP account, in our example “secondSipDevice”.

 

Provisioning

Finally, send the NOTIFY SIP message from the second SIP device to the beroNet device. The configuration file will be automatically downloaded and applied.
